What is a Music Together^® Class like?
Up to 12 children (birth thru 4+ years) and their parents or caregivers meet for weekly sessions to experience new songs, rhythm chants, movement activities and instrumental jam sessions. Everyone sits in a circle and participates, regardless of their musical ability. The teacher helps adults understand how to participate and the importance of relaxing and enjoying the activities with their children during each 45-minute class.
Some children will simply stare and "study" the experience, as they absorb the musically rich environment. Others will sing, play, and dance freely, because they are in a comfortable, encouraging environment, and they know the songs and chants from the songbook and CD they take home (Different music each semester!!).
A dozen experiences are included in each class, ranging from free movement to songs in unusual meter. Children have many opportunities to play a variety of percussive instruments.
Early childhood is a time when children learn joyfully and efficiently. Music Together helps adults and children discover the pleasure and educational value of informal musical experiences.

Following is the Winter '12 schedule of classes:

 If a class says "full," then it is no longer available (but we can put you on a wait list).

 If a class says "on hold,"  then it can possibly be re-opened, if there is a group of 5 or 6 families that are interested.

 If  a class says "canceled," then it is no longer available.

 All other classes are available, at this time. 

 You can register on the register page of this website.  If you can, please pick a first choice and a second choice that you CAN attend. (just in case)
